Joseph "Joey" Herald
Republican Candidate for County Commissioner (Collin County Precinct 2)
I'm present, not invisible. I'm actively involved in the community. The closer the elected representatives are to the citizens the better the solutions become. I am logical. If it works on the family level and benefits the family, there is a great chance it will work for the County. And, I have the heart of a servant.
Republican Candidate for Justice of the Peace ()
Democrat Candidate for Lieutenant Governor (State wide)
I believe in the Independence of the State - especially the State of Texas. Just like California decided to legalize Marijuana and did. The State should be able to stand on their own decisions without the influence of the federal Government. Even though it is illegal to make Marijuana legal on the federal Government level it was made legal on the State level. The State always have the right to do what is right for its people, even though other States choose different.
Republican Candidate for Land Commissioner ()
In short, I support and am in total agreement with all of the principles and beliefs of the Texas Nationalist Movement. Because of those underlying beliefs, it will influence my behavior in decision-making in this office.
Democrat Candidate for County Commissioner (District 2)
I believe the TNM should support my Candidacy, because nit only I'm going to go for what's right, but I am also the people choice , when it comes to making a difference, and things and situations in order, at any cost. I don't back down from a fight when it comes to supporting Judicial Beliefs as well making sure every voice is heard and not over seen. Going in tot the office, I will be the First Youngest African American Woman to be in this office for this position as County Commissioner District 2, Not only will I be making history for my self and children, But it will show any thing is possible when you believe, and have faith, and push for in helping your county achieve greatness. Also I want to make an impact in the Democratic Party, that with everyone' s help we can achieve greatness , and turn Texas Blue again.
Republican Candidate for District or County Clerk (Hardin County - County Clerk)
Although we may differ on a few issues, our beliefs about Texas and the right of the people to be free are the same. What is most important to me is that Texas citizens, specifically those in Hardin County, have the right to know what their government is doing, how it is spending their money and access the records being kept. That access should be easy and online. People shouldn't have to take off work to go to the courthouse to look at a marriage license, research deed records or probate documents among other things. The records of the government belong to the people.
Republican Candidate for Justice of the Peace ()
I am a strong supporter of the freedom and rights of all Texans. I support the 2nd amendment of the U.S. Constitution and feel that Texas should be left to govern the citizens of Texas without interference from the federal government. I support the United States constitution and the underlying purpose of the constitution to ensure all rights of all citizens, and provide that states maintain rights which ensure governing without interference from the federal government.
Republican Candidate for County Treasurer (Orange)
I believe the freest form of government is when the people are allowed to choose how to live their life without interference of Government. The people who run for office are servants of the people and not the master of the people. As a true supporter of a republican form of government I give and will keep my oath to maintain it and assure transparency of the office. I will assure true accounting of the peoples money. We need servants who are unwavering in character who will not turn a blind eye to corruption.
Libertarian Candidate for Lieutenant Governor ()
I stand with the Libertarian Party and the plank in the platform that reads: IV.1.c. Texas Independence. The Libertarian Party of Texas (LPTexas) fully supports the rights of the people to alter their form of government. As the U.S. federal government is increasingly expanding its influence well beyond its Constitutional authority and clearly violating citizens’ rights as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, the right of the people of Texas to alter their form of government, as stated in Article I Section 2 of the Texas Constitution, must be acknowledged by allowing Texans to have an honest and frank discussion on the merits of independence and being allowed to vote accordingly to reassert Texas’ Independence.
Republican Candidate for State Representative (District 88)
I have the same ideals and know that if things do not change we need to enact our ability to be sovereign and stand alone if pushed into that corner. When morals and values along with heavy regulations and unwanted laws and mandates get passed down from a socialistic mindset we must fight to keep our conservative values and know it is our God given right and our constitutional right to stand against the darkness of tyranny even in these United States.
Libertarian Candidate for State Senator (Senate District 17)
As a native Texan, I have not only worked to live free and vocally oppose federal over-reach, but walked the walk in office. Even as a council woman in a city of 5000 Texans I have pushed and worked to passed resolutions that called for timely and effective issuance of permits by the ACOE in the wake of Harvey as they delayed our local efforts. On the record at council meetings and those of the Brazoria County City Association I have pushed for local action instead of delaying relief while waiting for the ineffective Fed to issue permissions and permits as well as funds with strings that bind Texans to overbearing regulations and expensive fees. Additionally, I have challenged current federal and state level lawmakers to stop asking for permission, and start taking action on issues that matter to Texans whenever I found them to be failing in that area. Local Control, preferably the ballot box and with the votes of individual Texans, has always been the drum beat of my political career and I plan to continue that as I run for Texas State Senate in 2018.
Republican Candidate for State Representative (House District 102)
Republican Candidate for Justice of the Peace (Robertson County Texas Pct 1)
I am a born and bread true Texian. Grounded in Texas for many generations I believe we can stand alone as a nation. I believe we have the resources and assets to flourish as an independent country. I believe we know what is beast for our children and should have the right to insure they are taught the true and unedited history of our state and the United States. We learn by our mistakes, lets not let our children make the same mistakes.
Republican Candidate for State Representative ()
My motivations to run far exceed any assumptions of personal gain. I want Texas to continue leading the US in growth by promoting the idea of self-reliance, insuring the rights for protection of self and property, advancing the benefits of the free market, securing parental rights, showing that principles come before personal gain, a citizenry that promotes personal and non-governmental charity over government handouts, the freedom of association and peacable protest, and the right for all citizens to expedient and fair justice. Its these values that have brought many to Texas seeking refuge from the stifling government overreach in other states and it is our job to protect those values. I hope you work with me as we face down those that see the prosperity of the Great State of Texas and wonder what things they can buy on the backs of the Texas taxpayer.
Republican Candidate for County Commissioner (Gillespie County Commissioner Pct. 4)
I will always put Texas first after God. My record has shown that I believe strongly in our right to free Texas. I will not align myself with the establishment or good ole boy clubs that do not uphold our sovereignty and our constitutional right to self governance. Government closest to the people is best. I humbly believe that this opportunity will pave a way for me to share our message for Texas independence and reasons why we must save Texas.
Libertarian Candidate for State Representative ()
The federal government has grown out of control and has been secretly taking away our rights in the constitution by hiding things from us in huge bills, and causing to lose our personal freedoms. They’ve been interfering in our lives for too long. This state is too big and has too many unique circumstances that make it necessary to tailor our government to our state specifically without federal government approval.
Republican Candidate for City Council (Yorktown, Tx City Council)
As a city councilman, I will do my best to represent the best interests of the people of Yorktown. I will stand firm in all matters that appear before me, and vote as I believe the community wishes. I will be available 24/7 to my constituents, and will always strive to reach out to them for public opinion and input on any matter which I feel would bring them concern. I will always put Yorktown first, and strive be as transparent as possible in all matters, large and small.
Libertarian Candidate for Comptroller ()
You, as stated by our nation's Founding Fathers, have the inalienable right to live, be free and prosper to your fullest potential without hindrance from any person or entity. You have the freedom to pursue your happiness as long as you respect others' rights to pursue theirs. You are responsible for your personal choices, able to take care of yourself and capable to do for others as you expect them to do unto you. Conversely, others are free to live their lives as they see fit and are responsible for their choices. We believe in tolerance toward others and respect for self-sovereignty. Your government's principal function is to protect your freedom, your unalienable rights of Life, Liberty and Property, all crucial rights for building a free and prosperous society. Government should be of the necessary size and scope, as outlined in the United States and Texas Constitutions, to efficiently support its constitutional duties and effectively maintain the rule of law. My vision of government is of a government strictly confined to its constitutional role, a government that respects civil liberties, recognizes that the individual is more important than the State, exercises fiscal restraint and understands that each generation must pay its own debts, believes in free markets and practices a non-interventionist foreign policy of "peace toward all, entangling alliances with none."
