In the wake of the vote by the State Republican Executive Committee on the issue of Texas independence this last weekend, Broden was interviewed on Apostle Claver’s show on Raging Elephants Radio.
Pastor Stephen Broden is one of the SREC members who stood in favor of giving Texans a vote on independence.
During the course of the 30 minute interview, Claver and Broden discussed the SREC meeting, the vote that was taken, as well as their thoughts on its impact on the political process moving forward.
While they were discussing how the Texas Nationalist Movements’s efforts will play out in the long term, Broden brought up the TNM Precinct Project.
“I think there is an opportunity here,” said Broden of the project. He continued on.
“It’s called the Precinct Project. It’s launched. It’s in action now. And I think people need to go forward with it.”
Later in the interview, Broden restates his belief that an up or down vote on Texas independence should be on the ballot and that the Republican Party of Texas erred in their decision on the issue.
“I think it’s a bad mistake not to have it on there.”
Looking forward to the GOP conventions, Broden is clear on what needs to happen.
“It’s all hands on deck. The other side is going to fight to maintain its power.”
