Bio

I am a 7th generation Texan. I was born in Dallas. Our family moved to Gillespie County 25 years ago. I have a conservative voting record from the time I turned 18. I became more active in defending our God given right and protecting from liberalism in 2009. I am a member of Fredericksburg Tea Party. We focus on Texas and the legislative process that could adversely effect Texas and our community. I am on the Fredericksburg Tea Party Executive committee. In 2014 and 2016 I was honored to be a delegate to the RPT state convention. The 84th and 85th legislative was another
opportunity to fight for our state. I averaged once a week and testified numerous times. I worked tirelessly for unlicensed constitutional
carry.

Why are you running for office?

Gillespie County ranks 24th in highest property taxes in Texas. I have been concerned about transparency within my local government for many years. Texas is my home and Gillespie county is where I live. I am determined to protect my own community and further our Texas traditiona and culture. The association of Texas Commissioners is no friend of the tax payer. They fought hard during the 85th legislative session to weaken or defeat SB1 "property tax reform". I was a delegate to the Republican State Convention. I fought for and voted for the prevailing RPT plank to replace the property tax with something other than an income tax. I was in the fight to give Texans a simple vote as to whether or not they were in favor of secession.

How do you feel about the core principles and mission of the TNM?

Strongly disagree Disagree Neutral Agree Strongly agree
Texas is a nation with a distinct culture, economy and government.
Texas should always be politically, culturally, and economically independent.
The basic political building block of Texas is the individual.
The basic economic building block of Texas is the entrepreneur.
The basic cultural building block of Texas is the family.
Texans should have the ability to engage in the full enjoyment of their natural rights.
The interests of Texas supersede the interests of all other nations and states.
The power to determine Texas's political, cultural, and economic destiny should reside solely in the hands of the Texan people.
Texas's unique history serves as the foundation for our current and future greatness.
There is no challenge that cannot be overcome by the individual initiative and collective will of Texans.
Texas would be better off as an independent nation.
Texas should become an independent nation.
Texans should be able to vote on becoming an independent nation.

In your own words, please describe the meaning of Article 1 Section 1 of the Texas Constitution.

Texas is a free and independent state. Even though we are subject the the US constitution we are free to create our own forms of local government. We are not to me controlled or impaired by any other state.

In your own words, please describe the meaning of Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution.

This is one of the most taken for granted sections of our constitution. All political power in Texas is held by the people. Governing bodies exist by our authority. We are solely responsible for our State and local government. We hold the power to abolish or replace any and all governing bodies
when they cease to protect and defend our republican form of government.

In your own words, please describe the meaning of the 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

In it's original intent, the 10th amendment reminded the federal government that it had limited powers. This balance of power was to protect state rights. It's very simple. If the states did not give the federal government the power it was left to the states. This US constitution is NOT a document that outlines what we as states can do but rather what the national government can not do. For far too long Texas governors have placated this well designed form of government.

Why should supporters of the Texas Nationalist Movement support your candidacy?

I will always put Texas first after God. My record has shown that I believe strongly in our right to free Texas. I will not align myself with the establishment or good ole boy clubs that do not uphold our sovereignty and our constitutional right to self governance. Government closest to the people is best. I humbly believe that this opportunity will pave a way for me to share our message for Texas independence and reasons why we must save Texas.
